    The concept of “twins” is far older than any knowledge of eggs (in mammals) and sperm cells. Two babies come out at the same time, language decided to call those twins.

          Ah I get what you mean now, I kept thinking which animals do not have eggs but do get twins…

            Heh, I added that because I KNOW if I hadn’t and just said “eggs” (or even “egg cells”), some smartass would’ve come along like “what, they didn’t know what this 🥚🥚🐣 is?” You just CANNOT win with the internet ;D
