Taking it orally causes your liver to convert most of the progesterone into allopregnanolone, which makes you drunk lol.
It’s a pleasant feeling but doesn’t give you very high blood levels of progesterone. Boofing bypasses the liver completely.
In my experience, 400mg prog orally gave me almost undetectable levels (even tho the drunk feeling was nice 😭), but now, boofing the same amount, I have third trimester blood levels of prog. And I feel great, tbh 😆
