My buddy is also named Lenny.
I have had two cats and they have kept the names they came with.
He didn’t have a name, he was, and still is, a trashy belligerent street rat my nephew pulled out of the garbage and guilted me into adopting at my doorstep. We’re buddies, now, though, birds of a feather and whatnot.
