    I don’t have a single piercing in my body but as someone who has had a very high number of injuries, cuts, bruises and other painful events the question always forms: why?

      Piercings are only painful for a temporary time. People don’t get them for the pain, they get them for how they look.

      I’m always injuring myself in some way or another. Piercing is pain that I choose. I like the aesthetic as well. The rush one gets after the needle goes through is quite something.

      Because I like how mine look. Also there definitely is a body mod masochism, thanks to the endorphin rush associated
