It’s only weird when you correlate “great” with only being a good thing. In and of itself , “great” is neither good nor bad. It simply describes a thing as more than average or normal.
e.g. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both great tragedies. They were also very bad things.
e.g. Having a calm and rational discussion on the Internet is a great idea. It is also positive and reaffirming.
Yeah, “great” is about “magnitude”, not “quality”. They aren’t called the “Great Lakes” because they’re super awesome, but because they are fuck-off massive. It’s like the adjective “grand”.

I got complicated and nuanced feelings on the word “bitch,” and I don’t think Erika Kirk is a bitch. She doesn’t fit the category, the label of bitch.
No, she’s an asocial heartless unfeeling conniving motherfucker who is literally incapable of feeling love, and there is no redeeming value to her continued existence whatsoever.

I think the word is complex and has different meaning depending on how it’s used, the context and the speaker. “This bitch [is…/describing something she did” is definitely crude but is more using the word to emphasize incredulousness about the situation unless you know the speaking isn’t familiar with this subculture of slang. I’m not saying there is no misogyny involved but it’s wildly different from “What a bitch”.
HOWEVER, the moral outrage over whether this woman is mourning properly or loved her husband is wack as fuck and is an example of the attitude that allows polite, dignified politicians and leaders to do war crimes and still remain in favor.
The best response to this would be to ignore everything she says. This person is even less significant than her husband. Her relevance stems simply from the attention she receives, as is the case with all MAGA cultists. The solution to this problem has been known since the early days of the internet: Don’t feed the trolls.
If everyone adhered to this very simple rule, the current U.S. regime wouldn’t even exist, because they very obviously have no competence whatsoever, except for stirring up random shit online. Don’t give these people a platform—it’s their basis of power. If you ignore them, there’s no problem.

Kirk was absolutely against a war in Iran and was starting to get sick of Netanyahu’s shit. He also had a very close relationship with Trump and helped keep the US out of joining israel in the 12 day war last June, limiting it to a symbolic strike with the B2 bombers. Zionists like Bill Ackman had an intervention to warn him off in August 2025 at the Hamptons.
There was a lot of weird tampering of the area where Kirk’s was murdered and the ground in front of the podium was cemented over the very next day. There is a suggestion that shrapnel was lodged in the ground from an explosive hidden in Kirks microphone and they wanted traces of it removed.
Don’t confuse my observation of this situation as support for Kirk.
I’m not but there’s a lot of unanswered questions about his murder.
