I think you misunderstand me, I’m comparing the mushroom claim to an equally silly claim that often rears it’s head in these sort of discussions, not saying it was made here.
No I understand. I don’t think anyone is implying that because mushrooms aren’t plants that it makes veganism bullshit. My response came from a place of me wishing things like that could be discussed without the black and white thinking. I haven’t heard anyone discuss that. And I have a feeling the knee jerk reaction would normally be defensive.
