I acknowledge that people misusing LLMs is an issue but I’m not going to be okay with using “think of the children” the same lame excuse lawmakers are trying to use to destroy freedom online to excuse giving corporations the power to decide that we can’t say anything that goes against their corporate values on Chatbots running on our computers. They absolutely abuse that agency when they are given it. Some take it as far as saying you can’t swear.

Right now it’s a choice between that and using unfiltered models while using your own rational judgement.
