Very annoying they giving Cory Doctorow credit for the term Enshitification for a book he made in 2022 for a term that was around years before he “made” the term.
He is quite open about the fact that he didn’t invent the term
Edit: just looked it up in my copy of the book, and there he says he coined it. But I’m pretty sure he posted somwhere that it’s possible that he grabbed it up somewhere. otoh, multiple people coming up with a word happens all the time
