We’re having an influx of professioal right-wing operations on Lemmy. The biggest example is all the people claiming to be leftists trying to convince American leftists that the Dems are 100% as bad as the Republicans and that we shouldn’t vote for them.
The Trump admin may he popular on the far-right, but the historic swing voters are voting Dem this round, so in addition to voter suppression and all their other bullshit, the right is trying to convince leftists to either stay home or burn their vote on a third party that can’t win.
They’re actually Kremlin Shills showing up here. To be honest, I’m a bit sad they found Lemmy. But they’re unavoidable and spewing the exact same boring bullcrap they’ve been repeating since 2014 as if it somehow makes it true.
Interestingly, these shills might actually be worse at whatever their goal is.
More interesting still, is that they only pop up when election interference is useful, (which is far too late this year for that and its mid-term elections they don’t have a good strategy at fucking with), OR when Putin is about to pour another bucket of shit onto a new fan.
