Furthermore, communities like /funny are always going to be populated with stuff that has been reposted all across the internet because its such a generic topic that requires the content to actually be somewhat funny. Unless you have some resident comedians lurking here, you aren’t going to find much original funny content.
Doesn’t that assume that the new person will hate said content? I’m not taking that as a given myself, personally.
