At this point, you’re forcing your problems on other people. I’m not upset that I was circumcised, and don’t regret it. So what are you raging at me and putting words like it “being normal” and “everyone does it” in my mouth for? I never commented on the right or wrongness of it, just that I am personally not upset
They made choices for me, sure. But never mutilated me for religious reasons. That is something not so easy to forgive.
If that doesn’t upset you, fine for you.
I’m not raging as I’m not living in such a horrible country that treats such things as normal. I just despise dangerous stupidity like that, even if it doesn’t directly concern me. Except for being part of this “civilized” human race.
And it’s really hard to wrap my head around how adults can come to such a conclusion about their oh-so-loved newborn. “Hey hon, why not let them snip a part of our son off? Marketing says it’s advisable!”.
