A needlessly hyper specific point that definitely should be applied much more generally, he probably doesn’t intend to follow up on

At age 38, he’s also nearly 20 years younger than the median member of the House, most of whom were born before Pong was released.

    There’s your real problem!

I’d argue it is a massive problem. Your legislative branch is so far behind the times that it isn’t even funny anymore - they do not have any real insight into what is happening and why. I understand that you do not have to be an expert at IT stuff to be a good legislator, but your experience should at least reflect the experience of a common member of society, and they are so far away from that that it hurts my brain.

many critters-of-congress were buying the OG pong for their (now mid-50s in age) kids…

That’s like parents buying GTA for their children because that’s the latest hype and they do not have a fucking clue that it isn’t something that 10 year olds should play

Just don’t search this guy’s name to see what other policies he has supported up until election season.

Looks like he’s a self-avowed Zionist who has predictably bad positions on Isreal, is a cryptocurrency backer, and reneged on his support for defund the police. Anything I missed?

        Oh, so your average Democrat?

(I would say /s, but just because the Republicans are vile Nazi-esque trash does not magically make Dems beyond reproach)

We own the disk, not the intellectual property. We use the intellectual property that’s on the disc we own.

This is not a difficult concept for either regulators or the game industry to wrap their tiny minds around.

I appreciate that the game example they gave complies with the legislation they spoke of.
