They said at first it was unintentional, I would ask them how many missiles were fired because if they didn’t aim was that precise misfires.

Israel is going to be a toxic country no one will want to deal with for decades after this is over.

Right. Like, let’s not kid ourselves. This conflict is due to religion, as is the core of the US support for Israel.

Settler colonialism and imperialism weren’t a religion last time I checked

Other way around. What drives those two things and is used to control the masses while it happens telling them that it’s their divine right to settle the west?

Manifest Destiny is something you should probably check into if you truly believe what you wrote.

Religious apologists downvoting and PMing me how wrong I am haha. I guess they’d rather keep kidding themselves then.

Like, for those downvoting me because you don’t like what I said, doesn’t change the fact that it is correct. I’m not saying that just to be a dick. What’s happening over there is entirely due to religious influences and control warping people’s minds from childhood to think there’s some supernatural forces or divine guidance that gives them the “OK” to genocide another group, no matter the cost in casualties.

That’s coming from a place of zealotry and extremism that is driven by millennia of religion. And the people in the US that continue to support Israel are no better. They’re all calling themselves Zionists. It’s the belief that in order for the end days of their scripture/teachings to come to pass, requires “God’s chosen” (aka the Jewish population of the world), to reclaim their “lost sacred religious lands”, which is Israel and Palestine.

Once the Israelites do that, then a bunch of stuff in the New Testament supposedly comes to pass, specifically Revelations, which is the key signifier for the end times.

It’s why all the crazies are coming out of the woodwork to support Israel along with the “non-crazies”.

The truth is they share a common insanely crazy belief, which is zionism, and it’s pretty fucked up.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel tried to do what they do to Palestine, to the rest of the world, at some point

Which Australia? Cuz I just saw a compilation of Australian TV hosts and politicians saying Israel is only killing terrorists, and there is no genocide.

It’s honestly terrible that thousands of Palestinians can die and noone gives a fuck, but 1 Australian and all of a sudden Australia is outraged. I say this as an Australian as well.

I mean it’s the foreign minister talking about foreign policy. As far as the world is concerned, his word is Australia’s word.

      I couldnt care less.

I think we should wipe our hands of the middle east and let them sort it out and welcome the winner into the world again in 5000 years

A large scale conflict like that would have economic and security implications for the rest of the world. Nothing exists in isolation.
