Watch it still be canon despite being canceled.
Watch it still be canon despite being canceled.
I have barely watched any anime in like 10 years, so this is probably too niche and dated, but…
The wind… Is cold today.
… A cold front is coming…

There are a lot of games tied to popular IPs stuck on J2ME! Usually of questionable quality, though. There are half a million Sonic games, including a version of Sonic Unleashed that if I recall correctly played something like Sonic Rush, a Ratchet and Clank sidescroller (is it called Going Mobile maybe?), I also remember Tomb Raider games there. I would love to look at an overview of the most interesting games in this platform. It is extremely nostalgic to me.
I also have no clue how they were distributed? I remember putting them on my phone using less than legal means, but have no idea how you’d get them officially. Was it through one of those sketchy services where you could also get wallpapers and ringtones by texting a specific number?
I don’t know you, but there’s a chance that someone else had this exact realization after seeing you
… Wait. I assumed it was my extension cord keeping me up at night. I just learned to use it as white noise.
I swear my therapist says she sees no reason for me to be diagnosed as autistic
Out of all the ways I’ve ever been told I may have autism, this is certainly the most unexpected! At a certain point I should probably get a diagnosis.
In my family’s defense, they did believe me as soon as they tested my hearing (after trying to trip me up several times, without success), so I never felt gaslit, I just felt proud of my hearing hahaha.
Yeah, I didn’t mention this in my previous post but it was annoying, for sure. I would listen to this annoying noise, nobody would hear it, and I’d eventually discovered that somebody had left the TV on.
That phenomenon is also something I saw, but never really gave it much thought, I just assumed it was just something our eyes did
I can hear CRT screens. They emit a high pitch noise that nobody else in my family can hear, I assume most people actually can hear it but never noticed it. My family used to think I was crazy or had tinnitus (jury’s still out on both) until they tested me by making me close my eyes and tell them if the TV was on while turning it off and on at random, with sound off. It was a weird test from my perspective, since I could hear it fine anyway. So far I haven’t noticed a decay due to age, but if it had little use when CRTs were widespread, it’s now completely useless.
Genuinely appreciate your and the other commenters’ inputs, I really did only focus on his image outside of France. Thank you for all these examples!
I didn’t play any Star Trek game… Except for Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Final Unity, which I found at a local flea market a few years ago. So it’s that one by default!
It’s an ok point and click adventure, I don’t think it’s even the best Star Trek point and click adventure available. I’ve never been too much into these sorts of games but I confess it was extremely nostalgic even though I had never played it before!
It did not. You never played Quake or Unreal Tournament and made your own skins. You never dabbled in map making for any of these games or games in the Doom engine. Nobody ever made skins for minecraft Java. Your life is a lie.
So is mine!
Man, I know people dislike Macron, and I still think his handling of the Le Penn situation last year was a dramatic misplay, but I’ve always had a huge amount of respect for him. Maybe because I don’t live in France (although I was almost accepted into a job there earlier this year!), but he seems like such a role model in terms of political leadership. He’s been handling the Trump/Putin situation much better than most other world leaders, in my opinion
Yeah I also don’t understand this part. Can the antibodies targeting the bare spike protein attach to it despite the presence of the sugars? Or are there a few spike proteins in the virus which do not have the sugars, not enough to effectively develop antibodies but enough for already existing antibodies to attach to?
I may have missed it in the article, I’m not in life sciences so I don’t have all the prerequisite knowledge for this
Edit: this came out sounding super negative, I’m actually super excited about this development and all I want is to understand a bit better how it works
You just wanted to use an unique example. It’s a honest mistake.
The nazis modeled a lot of their Reich on the Roman state (the eagle iconography was used by both). The Roman salute was just something else they took from their idea of the Roman empire
So I’m with you, I have no idea how “it’s a roman salute” is supposed to make anything better
Always one of the first things I install with a new Arch Linux install! Not because it’s useful or anything, I’m not delusional, but because it’s hella cool
Fuck. Please don’t take down Sci hub… I know there are mirrors elsewhere, should I be worried?
I’m not even going to make the usual joke, by saying sarcastically that I don’t use it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s the biggest contributor to scientific progress in the last decade and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
I think Sonic Adventure can be a frustrating game. I confess it has some issues that I have learned to work around. But I still can’t see it as anything less than a great game that gets way more hate than it deserves.
The first Sims was in fake 3D, the 2nd one was already full 3D. The fourth one is known for being a huge downgrade when compared to 3 and even 2. I haven’t played 4 a lot but people really hate it, a lot of the community stayed on 3. It doesn’t help that EA is EA, and while the whole series has always had expansion packs and extra purchaseable content, with 3 already being a bit unreasonable, The Sims 4 took it to unimaginable heights. I think buying everything will set you back like 1500 USD or more, and it was super criticized for slicing up content into multiple packs. They even have DLC for DLC, with a content pack only having content for another pack…
It’s a mess hahaha
I’ve been working on some personal and work things and there are a few moments with more free time (and anxiety) than I’m used to. So, I’m juggling 3 games right now:
I also started The Sims 1, got to the top of my career and got married, was planning on continuing with the content from the expansions but haven’t picked it up in weeks. I guess I’ll go back some day, or maybe not.
Discord is an alternative to IRC, the fact that people use it as a replacement for forums is baffling
That’s completely misguided, because people can see his code anyway (in his streams), and also because he will never finish or release his game
