Yea, my city started using tornado sirens for most decent thunder storms. So they are being used all the time. But there’s no way to know when it’s actually for a tornado…

It was more than that. I’m 1996 round trip tickets were 7500, about 12000 in today’s dollars. I can get a round trip ticket under 400 bucks today for NYC to LHR. So it wasn’t 3x, but 30x the price.

And most are willing to pay less even if it’s a 6 hour flight.

I’d also recommend being close, if not fully, fluent in Spanish.

I was at a party with a small group of friends recently. We were all talking in a group and then one guy started watching tik/insta/whatever with the volume on. Everyone kinda looked at each other like wtf? I asked our friend if he wanted to borrow my headphones to watch that. He took the hint and rejoined the conversation. I still was gobsmacked someone would do that while hanging out with people.

That makes sense, I was thinking we would see it coming, but definitely not.

Cycles get quicker near the end of the night. Though I’m not sure how waking up effects things.

But those last cycles tend to be the most important. And studies have shown even trying but failing to fall asleep gives some benefit of actually falling asleep.

Yea, those guys are insane. Literally carrying most the gear up Everest, setting up all the climbing gear ahead of time, and smoking cigarettes the whole time.

I think people like a variety of games too. I mostly play solo, and enjoy that, but also have a ton of fun playing with friends and family at times too.
