Sadly it’s pretty easy to get an invite. I got one from a few friends and they told me they just sat in a weird discord asking for invites.

That’s just new competitive games in general though. The best time to play a pvp game is the first month when there isn’t a clear meta yet and everyone’s having a good time.
I don’t think my adhd ever came out as restlessness.
I always tried really hard to keep track of what was going on but the dumbest thing would cause me to zone out . When I was done zoning out I was so lost that I would just give up and continue daydreaming.
You can buy like $50 kits or go on Craigslist and look for someone selling their impulse bought gear.
Add in a license fee and even then it’s not too bad for time killing hobby.
I think when I first got into it I was put off thinking I’d need like the finest $3k in orvis gear and I’d need to buy $10 flies at my local shops.
Like there’s a weird bougie-classist feeling I think a lot of people have which turns them off of trying to get into the sport.
Fly fishing
Got yelled at as a kid for playing with your pole too much? Then it’s the hobby for you. Can practice in your backyard and it’s fun just to whip shit around
Not only that but it’s a worse user experience all around.
I fucking hate the EGS and Xbox stores for browsing new games. Most of the time you’ll get an animated video that’s not game footage and two screenshots that don’t tell you shit.
Not to mention that the formatting is so bad that the client requires you to basically be in fullscreen but you’ve still gotta scroll a mile down to get any info.
I play a lot of OS RuneScape and I unintentionally know a lot of dudes irl names because their wives or whatever start calling for them. We’re all like 40 now so after a few hours our wives come check if we’re still breathing
Can’t wait to start counterfeiting milk jugs
Yep and if you go on the discord and ask why isn’t it being detected some little shits tell you to stop pirating when you own a legit copy
I know that Wabbajack goes out of its way to make sure you’ve got a “non pirated” version. You can bypass that with a cheeky appid copy paste.
Lmao for real
Every time I’ve gotten a real pay increase it’s because I’ve hopped to a new company.
I hate to admit that my first couple times as a manager I left as soon as I felt like I actually knew what I was doing and not just faking it
Blood and wine is probably the only expansion I’ve found myself going back and replaying by itself.
I’m trying out Erdtree this weekend and hope it’s good~
I enjoy office work more than wfh because I genuinely like the people I work with and I think we riff off each other way better in person
The worst is when you’re trying to look for something but one of the discord bots has said a word similar ten billion times so that’s all that comes up. You’ll try to ban the bot to see other comments but then you just get like blank space or some shit where the bots comments would be
We’re just calling everything ADHD now
Hong Kong
I just expected like a flat New York “too tame to be fun” city but was met with mountains, beaches, and so many bizarre but charming events.
Not that I don’t like New York but it has changed a lot. I don’t want to say it lost its personality but I feel like a lot of big cities have become idk… commercialized?
The food in Hong Kong was pretty disappointing tho or maybe I built it up too much in my head. I went to so many restaurants that were recommended to me by either locals or expats and they were all so bland. Which is wild because I didn’t have to go far across the border into China to find amazing dishes.
I do feel like a lot of people here are on guard and that doesn’t make for the best vibes.
My wife was asking me the other day how my “shitty Reddit” was doing. I told her it was like someone rounded up all the little twerps that require you to add fine print to everything you say on Reddit.
Also if you post more casual things to a specific sub then you’re almost guaranteed to get downvotes from people just browsing the ‘all’ feed. Like who gives a shit about downvotes but it does make it harder to gauge if they’re from people in the community not interested or just randos.
Yeah I think men and women should all have some basic level of repair skills. I feel like somewhere along the line everyone got too afraid to break things or hurt themselves.
Subaru had a fun campaign targeting lesbians in the 90s after they noticed that lesbians were driving their cars.
Oh nice I was wondering if there was like an all in one place to put my shitty automations. I’ve been oddly fixated on automating my blinds.
