I’ve enjoyed some of the absurd things out can come up with. Surreal videos and memes (every president as a bodybuilder wrestler). However it’s never been useful and the cost isn’t worth the benefit, to me.
Haha, yeah. Understandable. It’s more of a joke line, lol.

And classical Stoicism. (Not the “don’t talk much” kind, but the roman philosopher kind.)
I think it’s a re-upload and the original is gone.
That I had all the energy needed to do things that make me happy. I have a lot of commitments that are more important but less fun than my hobbies. Every time I have to deal with those, it saps my energy for fun things.

But the protests made it clear that letting moderators make their communities private at their discretion “could be used to harm Reddit at scale” and that work on this feature was “accelerated” because of the protests.
Because Reddit admins deserved that harm. We’ve handed them all this free data and resource and they decided it was theirs.
Lol, that makes sense. They have completely different philosophies on business. Morhaime was gaming first, Kotick was greed first.

According to Schreier, the problems began immediately after Activision purchased Blizzard in 2007.
That makes sense. I’ve been in companies that changed owners. The change starts when the new people walk in, but it takes time to “turn the ship” so to speak. It will turn, but it takes time. The corruption is slow, boiling-frog style.
Sex Type Thing by Stone Temple Pilots. Great music, love STP, but it’s basically about raping someone.
