Yeah the news are triggering the worst instincts of some users who tend to lash out alot, and some trolls might be taking advantage of that

Yeah it kinda does, WHEN YOUR INSTANCE IS ALWAYS DOWN AAAARGH
It would be best to focus on policies and ideas rather than ideological alignement. The moment someone says “thats socialist!” “That’s right wing!” Is the moment where no meaningful action is taken, where discussion ends since you suddenly decide that your alignment is irreconcilable and makes no outcome possible.
Live in the present, take time to analyse things. It’s ok if you are slower at some things. Every time spent reflecting will enrich your next reflection and bring more peace and comprehension. Be patient. Try new things. Meet people. Hold your own opinions to scrutiny, back them up with evidence. Do the work. Trust the right people. Don’t give in to fear or anger. Allow yourself to feel sad. Analyse your frustration and feelings. Talk to yourself if no one is listening. Keep some of your hobbies especially if it’s skill dependant going.
Also ffs don’t start smoking.
I read that book, boy it’s a steaming crock of shit. They are following the worst book second to mein kampf that has soo many misconceptions that you really get a sense on why Russia is such a shithole.
Bazzite, i tried arch and then realized the whole wiki was like a uni level symposium and was burning through steps, kept doing instead of understanding, etc…
It’s probably amazing, but since my only interaction with linux back then was being forced to use it at uni and windows, I really wanted a good experience of what linux could be. I needed it to work out of the box and be unbreakable, so I went with bazzite.
It’s great, and I am digging the immutable aspect even if it broke my brain for any dev work, but once you learn how to use an immutable system (still figuring it out tbh) it’s solid, easy, and works great.
Really wished there was more resources on immutable systems for newcomers though XD
I block only when I see a user who is unhinged enough and is obviously not getting banned by moderators. Usually theses people can be baited into making terrible arguments terrible opinions backed by either terrible ideology or lies, and mods can deal with them.
I think reporting users is more effective to not let the whole site become completely unusable by attracting shitheads/trolls/agitators who even if blocked keep posting garbage because that might be seen by new users.
Also responding to them is taxing on some people’s mental health, so this isint for everyone and I get why people might opt for it. I prefer arguing since there is a chance that they might be misinformed or hot headed (me included).
Honestly it depends on how you want to engage with a platform.
Did the donkeys get along with the chickens before their mood soured? I can’t tell if this is a copy pasta also they have very fun names
