TribblesBestFriend@startrek.websiteto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Has your teacher even lied/misinterpreted something big about you?7·10 days agoWhen I was a kid : no, nothing that I remembered
However I’ve worked in school, working with kid at diner time, etc. One day my « manager » come see me and say « hey, tribble, it’s seems that you don’t clean behind yourself when you use a room » (which wasn’t true but turn out that a teacher was angry at me because I’ve cut some paper at his chair). Fine I’ll be careful, etc, etc. Months later a teacher confiscated a toy to one of my group’s kid and locked it in his desk (the toy was one of mine and come from my budget), the teacher acted outside of his hours. I go asked the toy back, not to give it to the kid but to put it back where it go, teacher say « I’ll do it when I’m finished » ok no problem, bye good night.
Weeks later my manager ask me to see her in her office « Tribbles we have complaint about you … yada yada yada »
There’s 3 or 4 pages of complaints on me, first time I heard most of them but there’s the paper one blow out of proportion at the point that’s is laughable and the toy’s story where the professor alleged that I nearly menaced her. That was so unbelievable, they were so enfantine about it.
The toy was a finger skate 🛹

Cyberpunk have clear gamification mechanics in it but that’s not the point.
Fast food food are easy to digest with low effort production, Cyberpunk don’t try to incentivize something new, it used mechanics that we have seen a hundred of times and clear story beats for all its plot points.
Don’t get me wrong, you’re allowed to have fun with it but there’s nothing new in there
TribblesBestFriend@startrek.websiteto Gaming@lemmy.ml•What's the video game equivalent of fast food?59·15 days agoI’m prepare to be hated for this one but …
Cyberpunk 2077. (At first I was thinking CoD but I’m no multiplayer player) There’s no new mechanics, if you know the source material there’s also nothing new. Dialogues are so so and the expansion story line is awful.
In my opinion it’s a basic game with a new gen console veneer, anyway I’ve played the story 2 times

TribblesBestFriend@startrek.websiteto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•what's your take on employers banning the use of languages other than English between coworkers at the workplace?81·25 days agoI live somewhere where French is prevalent but there’s also an important English community.
When people are speaking in English on break there’s normally no problem … but ! If you speak Arab, Spanish or even Creole on your break you’ll probably lived exactly the same thing you experienced.
My point is … racism, pernicious racism and control

But it’s already here. Education is already doing what you’re fearing. Rich people tend to have access to better education and thus having access to better salaries, positions, etc.
If he do it on his own time, without FBI equipment, and you can prove that’s your device I’m pretty sure that is okay
