Also a type of duck we in my region of Brazil call “marreco”, the name in English seems to be Teal or Garganey.

Flags don’t make sense.
Otherwise this is completely valid:

For something not urgent I can usually get a private GP within a week or a specialist within a month.
For something a bit more urgent, usually 1-2 hours in a private hospital, or 2-6 hours in a public one.
When going private the health insurance has always covered everything, so no cost.
Never had an emergency so I can’t say how it is.
I’ve read that all modern cryptography is based on an area (number theory?) that was once only considered “useful” for party tricks.
My state is a large poultry exporter, and neighbors the one with the outbreak, weird that this isn’t on the news here.
Companies talk about lesser earnings as losses all the time.
It’s 30 days, but weekends count. Recently the law was amended to disallow scheduling vacations to start on a Friday because of that. It can be taken in full, or 15+15, or 10+20, or 10+10+10.

30 days + a lot of holidays.
At least 2 years for sickness if I’m not mistaken.
I find it funnier to stealthily cast fury on him.
They are “media transformers” and might be useful if limited to it.
Knowledge retrieval certainly not, as “they” know nothing besides how likely one data fragment is to appear near other data fragments.
Not false, I also don’t like it, but I’m not wrong.
Pedro II put Brazil well on it’s way to become a global superpower.
The only one that came somewhat close was later Getúlio Vargas, but he was an asshole cruel dictator.
Maybe Lula in his first and second terms might deserve a distant third place.
I don’t disagree, but still better than all the other leaders the country had.
The following dictatorship put up a lot of antimonarchist propaganda, but still today abolishing slavery is celebrated by all as an achievement of his government.
(Note: I’m not a monarchist)
In Brazil the monarchists get some sympathy because emperor Pedro II was the only competent and halfway decent leader the country ever had.
Brazil is also doing this. My wife is a teacher and said that the kids are much less agitated and anxious this year.
If I time traveled to the same geographical region, considering I’m in South Brazil, if I don’t get immediately killed by some jungle animal or tropical disease, I’d probably end up starting a pandemic among the natives.
One technique I’ve heard being used by Bible translators to learn new languages: show some curious/interesting object, you’ll learn the phrase “what is this?”, then start pointing at everything and repeating it.
It is a nice backpack tho…
Why this controversy now? Tools like StyleGAN could do this for years already.
There are some German dialects that only survive (barely) in Brazil.
And the German language is much older than Germany.
