Sooo it’s a honeypot now?
Sooo it’s a honeypot now?
Implying they have their own emulator and it’s not just running retroarch or something
I used to like Ubuntu, but I got so sick for not being able to do things due to packages being out of date, and/or snaps getting in the way.
I ditched it for arch and I’m so much happier
uBlock, Revanced, and yt-dlp still 100% free lol
Content creators need to consider looking into alternative platforms though. Seems like YouTube is hellbent on self destruction.
Worst part was, it was all really civil I thought. Like, “Hey, this sounds like X but it might be Y”
Turns out the dude was a piece of shit, but still… While I consider myself pretty left leaning, I also like to make sure I’ve got my fingers pointing in the right direction. Call the piece of shit out for cases where they are without a doubt being a piece of shit. Not for areas where there some room for personal interpretation.
But according to some mods, we should just blast people over anything regardless of verifiability. And trying to further explain the dangers of enforcing nonsense like they’re doing is apparently considered harassment.
Their approach:
Me: Appalling the ban, stating the nuance of the post.
Mods: “No, don’t contact us again.”
Me: Huh? But this, though…
Mods: “No, contact us again and we’ll report you for harassment”
Me: I’m all for pointing fingers, but this is dangerous…
“We’re muting you now, and also reporting you for harassment”
Reddit admins: “How dare you harass the mods with civil conversation! 7 day ban!”
Me: Appealing Reddit ban, stating the only harassment thus far has been from the mods. Show me where I was harassing.
Human admin: Nope, harassment. Ban staying.
Meanwhile, conspiracy, conservative, and canada subreddits continue to exist no prob…
Reddit can’t die soon enough. It’s clear that the site is compromised big time.
It’s cool you can call stuff out on here. I tried that on Reddit and got banned. Then called out the mods and got banned from the site for harassment 🤷♂️
Reddit can’t die off fast enough. It’s clearly past its prime
Oh no… So anyways lol
They nailed the retro-futurism aesthetic with that window UI
Shucks… Maybe if the college didn’t rob the students blind on tuition, and the publishers not rob the students blind on books, maybe they could afford to pay for software licenses. 🤷♂️
No, American iPhone users use iMessage and think they’re superior. American Android users don’t give a fuck and think it’s hilarious that iOS users think they’re superior because they used dumbed down devices that nag for money everywhere.
You should consider staying in your own lane…
A small handful of iOS users might complain about iOS, but a majority of us don’t give a shit and can’t understand why anybody would brag about having an inferior OS.
And sure people make accounts all the time, but if doesn’t mean they enjoy doing it. I doubt most people enjoy having to flip between messenger, signal, telegram, and WhatsApp - and RCS fixes most of that since everybody has access to it, and SMS is still a main go-to for messaging in north America anyway.
Any more stupid takes to share with us?
Which is why Americans use it? Sorry you struggle to put two and two together…
Literally nobody is hung up on bubble colours other than you and iPhone users… Most people don’t give a shit, and the added benefits of RCS basically bring it up to spec with a typical messenger, and since it’s pre-installed it means that you don’t need to worry about messenger app segregation. You don’t even need to create an account.
This is such a dumb take… “Lol Americans all using SMS! We prefer to install 4 different messaging apps to talk to people, and can’t do shit if we end up in an area with low reception”
10/10
I can’t stand people who use Discord as a support platform… Absolutely nothing comes up in internet searches, and then you have to try to find an old discussion, or ask the same question as 50 other people. It’s dumb.
If the publishers win, I hope every book they publish as long as they exist gets torrented into oblivion leading authors to ditch them in favour of self publishing
Right? This dude was probably just hosting all of the content that the platforms removed over the years lol
It really just seems like it proves that the applicant is able to work in an environment where everything is already pre-installed and running with no need to learn basic troubleshooting, and that they were able to sit through a few years of focusing on specific aspects of a textbook and writing incredibly mundane programs… and quite possibly lack the ability to learn on their own and think outside of the box…
Interviews and testing seem like they would be a far better way to vet applicants
I actually really enjoy GIMP as an alternative to Photoshop. My biggest problem with it is that Photoshop keybinds are muscle memory, and for whatever reason GIMP has everything totally different so I almost always end up having to hunt down what I’m after.
I’ve heard there are ways to get it 1:1 but I’ve never been able to figure that out. Admittedly, I haven’t looked too hard either.
