And part of the PS2’s success was the built-in DVD player which was cheaper than non-console DVD players at the time. So if you were going to buy a DVD player anyway, you were better off buying a PS2, saving some money and getting a console at the same time.
There was also a video a while back from one maker channel where the guy said that he got some type of nasty poisoning from breathing in fumes from ABS printing. Fortunately ABS isn’t as popular of a material as it once was, now that there are better alternatives, but I’m sure many of them still put out some nasty fumes.

That’s not a “new trend,” it’s been that way for a long time. Denuvo is a subscription model for publishers, and it doesn’t make sense to keep paying for it after the sales have already peaked.
Any game with the designer’s name in it is dumb to me. The worst example is American McGee’s Alice, mainly because the guy has a confusing name that makes the title sound especially dumb.

Home versions, which most home users have, force the use of MS accounts. They’ve patched the bypass tricks that people used before.
They’re suing because Microsoft got an exclusion from the Digital Markets Act. Google did not.

As for your allergy testing, it’s likely you’re not really allergic to all of the allergens you were tested for. In many cases for those tests, if a few of the allergens trigger a reaction, then all or most of the injection sites will react rather than just the ones you’re allergic to. It helps when you can tell in the moment which one started it, since reactions happen quite quickly.

When it comes to Israel, they have very little incentive in changing their ways when the US refuses to join the rest of the world in condemning them.
