I’m not European, so I can’t sign (I think), sharing this is the most I can do; but if you and/or someone you know is from Europe and hasn’t signed yet Please do!
EDIT: THE THRESHOLD HAS BEEN REACHED!!! LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!
 - YES! - HELL YEAH!!
- HOW THE HELL - THIS IS AWESOME

- I’m pleasantly surprised to see this cross the threshold. I was kind of not expecting it to, given that it had something like 500k signatures a week ago. - Way to go, everyone! - It had 400k 3 days ago - A week ago it had much less than 500k

- The momentum this has gained is insane ❤️
- It’s taking ages to load. Good sign. - France is basically DDOSing the page, they are at 962% support - The organisation behind the initiative is from France.

- France with the 980% of required signatures. Based France!
- How the hell is this not banned already?! - Hungary, Poland and such - I mean… yeah, I know, but conversion therapies? In 2025? Might as well apply leeches to cure flu - deleted by creator

- Whelp, a lot of people like the idea of torturing queer children. Not much else to it than that.

- Now the signatures have to be verified by each member country’s authorities. Unverifiable support may bring the petition back under 1M signatures. Sign if you haven’t! Keep spreading!
- Nice, it was around 700k when I signed it yesterday. Good to see it at 978k now. That’s a lot of votes in one day. - Holy moley, I signed yesterday and was sad that it was probably not going to make the cut, but that is an INSANE explosion of signatures. 990k now, this will work!

- Threshold:
One million statements of support (At 986k now)
 as well as minimum thresholds in at least 7 countries. ✓- 990k! - 998k! - 999k! - 1 million passed!
- 1M!

- The load time on this is insane. But I got it signed! Not that it really helped much, both my own country and my country of residence had already reached the threshold. - But still, it’s about time for an EU-wide ban on this barbaric shit. - Once they start verifying the votes, every vote helps. - You’re right, always good to have a buffer.

- First time I’ve signed one of these. Most annoying part of the process was that Android apparently no (longer?) has a quick toggle for NFC. - Anyway, I hope this will lead to something. If I understand it correctly one member country can still veto this, right? - You use NFC to sign? Don’t you have an eID app? - At least the german eID app seems to require reading the physical ID with NFC - Yes, this was the same for me, only the Dutch one

- Could be nfc for an nfc enabled eid perhaps? I’m wondering as well

- I’m on latest Android and have a quick setting for NFC - I have Android 12, but no longer get any updates for my phone. Which is a system that desperately needs to change… But good to know that it may become available if I ever get a new phone

- Signed. - Same. 📝✊

- I just voted. Let’s go!!!
