When do I get a refund for all the extra money I paid for fuel over the past few months? My job involves driving - I’ve put about 5,000 miles on my car since the beginning of April - so I’m definitely noticing the difference.
US citizens serving on the home front during WWII sacrificed all sorts of basic foods and materials, all to help the war effort and, you know, defeat the spread of fascism. Today, we paid out the ass to fill our cars up at the pump for months, just so we could drive to work. And all so Trump could accomplish…nothing. Absolutely fucking nothing. He fucked with the stock market for a bit, and then capitulated like the fat fucking bitch that he is. And the people who support him, probably the people most affected by all of this bullshit, will still support him.
If you drive for work and pay for your own gas too you’re also getting fucked. We all are but like, that’s extra fucked. I really hope you get paid a whole lot, enough to offset that cost, it seems backwards to drive for work AND pay for the gas.
