His language does tend to follow common phrases but only is tangentially similar anyway. Could have said something along the lines: don’t know if I could have done it. Probably couldn’t. Probably wouldn’t. I don’t know. His inner monologue is spoken out loud and his social filter barely exists. This isn’t news. He can make anything sound respect less, that being said.

Nobody knows more about xyz than me”. In his mind, he could do it if there was something in it for him, but he wouldn’t, because there isn’t. Quite possibly, this is one of the only times in his life he’s actually told the truth about anything.

I’m Dutch and we would also literally translate it to respectless (respectloos in Dutch, just like tactless = tactloos), but in English you’d say “disrespectful.” ;)
