What good is it if my state candidate is republican-lite and just sides with the GOP on shit like this?
That they don’t side with them on other things. The news cycle keeps everyone only thinking about and upset with the last 3 days or so and wipes anything but the most major events that came before. Get rightfully pissed about this, but apathy towards the process because you don’t immediately get what you want instead of incremental change is how we end up alternating between moderate to centrist democrats after a republican majority and republicans after a moderate democratic majority when apathetic voters stay home.
That’s a lot of words for “Palestinian lives aren’t as important as my own comfort”.
