Donald Trump’s White House has launched Arcade.Gov, a site with mini-games where you catch and deport immigrants, or use Tetris blocks to build a border wall.
I know that this is potentially a spicy thing to post to this community, but I do think it is relevant to games and gaming. They are advertising it with using likenesses of major gaming brands.
So they decided that the best way to capture the attention of today’s youth is with clones of games made 30 or 40 years ago. Sure, you know what, good job White House, have a cookie. Everybody clap for how well they understand the children and teenagers of 2026.
I would not dismiss their influence so cavalierly. The shift right among male youth is very concerning and real.
They are also working on teenage girls with the “TERF” thing. Pink fascism and SAHM trade wife propaganda is huge on Pinterest.
I think they just seek to create controversy. They don’t care for young people or people at all.
