I think it’s more complex than that. Why can’t Germans solve this via those democratic solutions and threaten entire EU project by their inability to act against serious threats.
People keep kicking AFD can down the road for years now. I’d point to the paradox of tolerance but this is more of a case of laziness and lack of responsibility - no one has the balls to end the rising nazis. Why?
My original comment implied that this will lead to militarization of europe - I’m not calling for tanks. Polish and other countries will not wait for AFD to start building camps, this will end very badly if not dealt with ASAP.
