This is not quite true. In the fediverse, you’re constantly asked to hide “trigger” posts. And you can get banned without understanding why, just because an admin might not like you. I love the fediverse, but it’s not a cure all. It’s a heaven for same-minded, but if you’re off the beaten path, things can happen to you.
