I enjoy beer, even the macro-brewery styles. Every NA beer I’ve tried is the dishwater tasting worst example of beer. I don’t get it. There are so many better NA options.
Last year a lot of Belgian brewers have entered the game and it seems that they’re expertise results in some great non(low)-alcoholic beers. As for why you would want a beer without alcohol. It’s pretty refreshing.
I like it specifically because both it and regular beer taste bad. Sometimes im eating good food and i have to fuck it up for a little bit so i can remember how good the food is.
Yeah the Oktoberfest fest beer they have is terrible, for sure. The Dunkel is decent though.
And some of the other members stuff can be pretty hit or miss. But the standard stuff in stores is generally solid. The Mexican copper one is probably the best imo.
Heineken 0.0 is not something I’d seek out but it’s widespread enough to be at work events and stuff. It’s fine.
There are better options in grocery stores, so I’d never buy it myself. But I’ve tried a lot of NA beers and there are much worse options.
That’s just the thing with NA though. You have to know which are good, which are fine, and which are disgusting. Unfortunately there’s a wide range in quality - much wider than normal beer.
I’d say 50-75% of NA beer is peepee water. Peroni NA is good as are a few others. Nobody needs to drink it though. I always tell my friends to not drink and save their money because even NA beer is kind of expensive.
Peroni is awful and so is any other beer that comes in a green or clear bottle. If I wanted something that tastes llke a skunk, I rather just smoke weed instead.

I like it a lot. Athletic is the best imo, but even the Heineken and Guinness options are pretty solid.
Germany has a much better NA beer scene than the US though.
I’m partial to Best Day, but Athletic is more widely distributed. Not all of their styles are good though — Oktoberfest tastes like wort.
