Uh… I think the 2-year long mass protests might’ve had something to do with it. Less sarcastically, trying to reduce the Serbian anti-authoritarian struggle to “going out and voting” is not just factually bullshit but also frankly insulting.

You chose to focus on literally the least consequential part of that series of events, thereby diminishing everything else in order to fit your agenda. It’s like saying “see, the New Deal came because people voted for FDR” and neglecting to even allude to the literal decades American workers spent bleeding and dying before something like that happened.

Unfortunately in France and Germany a lot of voters fall for the far right lies. The next two election in these countries will have a big impact on EU. Hopefully their citizens learn from Hungary, Serbia, usa and so on. But what I see as a german it does not seem to be this way.
