Where do you think they learned that from?

This! 🥳
Also, depending on your location, getting a library card doesn’t require residence in its area. So, if your preferred library app shows a book/album/film, etc. isn’t available digitally, check another major city’s library catalog and sign up if they have it. Add that new login and boom. Bonus: each additional library membership makes that happen far less often. 🖖🏼

Sorry, did he say “where are the Epstein Files?” I could’ve sworn…

Thanks for the clarification. The comment thread at the time read a little wonky. My bad. 🤌🏼

Hol’up. “All code is there” after one pays to access it, you mean?
edit: Ah, it feels like that other place, where downvotes are kbarbarians’ impotent ire. The perfect environment for valid questions. Love to see it.

How long have you been away from that other place, exactly? Do you really believe they’ll notice your absence? We wouldn’t, FWIW.

Buy a home? 🥹 If you’re in the US, you were born decades too late for that, citizen. 🤌🏼

“Added value”: prescribed, trickled-out, tiptoed smidgens of steps forward
“Enshittification”: unscripted, greed-backed, frantic, top-speed Thomas Salto tumbles into the corner and off the mat.
Yep, sounds about right. “Progress”.

Oh, I’m already on the Lifetime Hard Pass and it’s all but free —ad-free, slop-free, greed-free, bullshit-free, etc.
IIRC, the cost is ~$5/mo for upkeep, took me no time at all to set up, and I get to listen to/watch whatever the fuck I want, whenever & wherever I choose.
Fuck Plex. I hope it dies gurgling & terrified. 🥰

Flush? That implies water or maybe air. Neither are the elemental force of choice for the immense scope of that global waste mgmt project.

Seconded!
That said, the voice acting seems 50/50 and I didn’t see any in-game footage of the progression systems in place. So far, just cutscenes, dialog, and combat clips. No skill trees, spells, abilities, combos, or allies’ collab options, to name some basics. Hrrm… 😶

Some areas may even have systems in place that force the defendant (corp/co) to pay said legal costs outside/on top of the awarded sum.
see: wage theft, workers comp, fee-shifting provisions (freq. labor violations, discrimination claims, environmental law, consumer protection, IP, etc.)
That said, here’s a relevant PSA, if that helps anyone here:
If you’ve experienced the following or similar issues with your employer:
… you should at least contact a local law firm specializing in employment/contract/labor law. Often enough, many will offer a free consultation to first clarify whether you have a case to work with, or what steps are still needed in order to move forward toward justice.
Keep in mind, fellow poors, there’s no obligation for you to ultimately choose any attorney(s) you consult with (don’t forget: start w/ free consults in this exploratory stage). FWIW, most of those that I’ve contacted over the decades seem personally driven to champion for us poors in their work. (Anecdotal, yes, but earnestly hoping it helps) Which may be related to the fact that it’s the judgements against said shitheel corpos that the attorneys get their wages from, instead of their client, who’s yet another victim of normalized, unchecked greed. ✊🏼

It’s risky AF in that it’s so far without precedent, and thus could prove to be a complicated endeavor that could very well sap the progress of the former, if attached to those efforts. (IANALE)

Yes, and that’s why screen-inward is the better orientation vs screen facing all that interaction with those outside objects, etc.
To clarify? Oh thanks, sweetie. 🤦🏼♂️🙄

Yeah, that model strikes me as some boomer logic.

Um. “Bend”? Thafuq are you doing with your pocket— actually, don’t answer that. 🤫😅

Who releases a product with busted AF bluetooth these days?! Hard pass until that, at least, is corrected. 🥹

Not protected? Take its name as a hint and turn it around to face your leg, instead. Boom. Solved.

Whaaaat?! I haven’t run across anyone else who’s knows about Gunsmith Cats in decades! That’s a deeeep cut. 🤘🏼
A “lemming”, from the old lemmenapnowtrix.
