It’s very possible to be a bigot with statistics too.
For example, quoting a survey that says only 30% of Jews think isreal is committing a genocide, while leaving out the fact that 30% of ALL Americans feel that same way.
So their religion and culture is statistically irrelevant. And the fact that it’s being highlighted is the bigotry.

I used the same statistics as everyone else, and the same tactic as the bigot I replied to, but I put a positive spin instead of a negative one. And a bunch of y’all told on yourselves by getting mad.

Bigotry only seems like jokes when it’s the punch line, because stereotypes take the place of setup for a joke to establish something that you should have seen coming. They take the place of a callback to something said earlier or a reference to shared experience.
Jokes that rely on the situation of bigotry being expected are difficult and require much more effort or insight than “[identity] lol”. In other words: put your ass into your schtick.

The thing about jokes is that they are usually written in such a way as to be humorous or obviously satirical.
