Mine shows nothing. I don’t use Amazon much in the last few years, but I used to use it a lot. I have never used an Alexa or other assistant things they have. Get the feeling this data is mostly collected through Alexa and other AI things they offer, and not how you actually shop.
Is this a US thing? I just requested my entire advertiser profile from Amazon in Canada, and I don’t see any of these statements, just who bought my profile and the topics I am associated with (like “Automotive”).
The point about flatulence is probably just linked to frequently buying a product to treat gas, like beano or whatever. I have stuff in mine like “maintains consistent spicy noodle inventory”, and “actively trains and cares for a dog”.
I think they buy data from other stores. A buddy bought a bunch of craft supplies in person at a store and “bulk arts and crafts” showed up on his amazon thing shortly after

As someone who doesn’t use Alexa or any of their surveillance tech, they will put this information together from purchase history.

Mine knew what kind of batteries I liked and that I have a garage.
