Wars, wait shit I meant Dune

Its not hard sci fi, but damn its fun thinking about that universe. Its like a low fantasy star wars and 40k but made for adults.

Wars overall. The original trilogy mainly of course. But I greatly enjoyed a lot of the other stuff like The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian. And some great games like Battlefront and Empire at War.

What are your thoughts on the Ori story? I felt like the Goa’uld was peak star gate and didn’t care much for seasons after that. Episodically it’s fine, but the overall story wasn’t as gripping.

I am interested in checking out FarScape though since it’s those same characters

To quote an old comment of mine:

Is that the one with the gates deep in space? Deep gate 9 or something?

They found a way to connect to faraway regions of space and shortcut the journey, and decided a facility was necessary to protect against hostile intrusions and be a hub. Also something about returning control to the natives. Religion / religious zealots bad.

Fair-ish, can’t find the big guy being asked trek or wars and going gate meme. I like 'em all, but I’m not out to make people mad (troll). Like the agency in gate, the competence and evolved ethics from trek and the swashbuckling from wars.

Many know, many care. However, I found this. mYLo4fW93B6VCCS.gif while looking for the big guy, which I may use inappropriately for a while, thanks.
