Jail all billionaires. You can’t be that rich without being a thief. You’ve stolen wages from the people.

It has always worked before, if not race then sex, if not sex then nationality, if not nationality then religion, if not religion then age, if not age then social status, on and on ad naseum.

Depends on the facts, if you intend to kill someone it is murder and if you don’t intend to kill someone it is doing something you didn’t intended that left someone murdered because of you.

He looked dead inside when he was on George Floyd’s neck for 9 and a half minutes. There’s also better ways much better ways to restrain someone. There’s two-point restrain methods and they could’ve done a four-point because there was two officers there, they could’ve held his legs and his arms, they could’ve shackled higls ankles and made him walk slowly to the vehicle; They could’ve done anything else.

They didn’t have a reason to do a neck restraint. A neck restraint just isn’t chill, unless the person is a terrorist then give em the neck knee… 😋

        ^^^THIS RIGHT HERE! ^^^

It’s very hard to overstate how much power this asshole’s wealth gives him. People joke about it all the time, but he is effectively above the law. For some reason, people equate his wealth with intelligence, so they listen to him. When the disagree with anything he says, that wealth/intelligence pops up and they assume he knows something they don’t.

He is an incredibly dangerous person. Especially so, given his obvious fascist and racist tendencies.

wealth is control, and people who have a lot of control and power should be closely monitored. ideally people should be prevented from having such exaggerated control, but you work with what you got i guess.

And then a few months after that the US gave him trillions of dollars. Just wow!

He doesn’t have to have intended to kill the guy to be criminally liable for his death. He was grossly negligent in his sustained use of a restraint technique with lethal capacity and callously unrelenting in the force applied, which was deemed excessive, even as the danger Floyd was in was apparent, and even then after he went still and no longer had a pulse. Whatever his intent, he murdered that man by two different legal definitions as the justice system concluded.

‘Tell him we will pray for him.’ ‘He needs your prayers.’ ‘Is he, then, an unhappy man?’ Poirot said, ‘So unhappy that he has forgotten what happiness means. So unhappy that he does not know he is unhappy.’ The nun said softly, ‘Ah, a rich man…’ Poirot said nothing—for he knew there was nothing to say…

Ipve markdown and that places like this support it but the way it handles single returns and needs those spaces bugs the shit out of me.

I mean…maybe we just shouldn’t have nazis at all? I know my deceased purple heart WWII normandy beach storming grandfather would have prefered that outcome. In fact in the 90s, he was quite proud of the lack of nazis due to his and everyones combined efforts in the 1940s.

The blonde on the pic was raised by Nazis on a moon base. She meets the black guy, realizes she’s been indoctrinated into a terrible regime and helps kill the fuhrer

It’s very much a tongue in cheek comedy movie mocking Nazis.

Uh, there wasn’t a lack of Nazis in '90s. The US, under Truman, partnered with the Vatican to save over 10,000 Nazis from justice and brought them to the US, its territories, and its vassal states. It gave them fake names and official documents, money, jobs, property, and protection. Then the US staffed the first generation of NATO with Nazi officers, and together they organized Nazis and Nazi collaborators all over Europe in a covert operation to arm, fund, train, and prepare them for a resurgence. In West Germany, former Nazi politicians were openly elected and appointed into government positions, and it was so egregious that some Germans and Scandinavians turned to terrorism in protest. The USSR had to build a wall completely around West Berlin because it was a small little polity in the middle of East Germany that was literally electing Nazis to power.

They were 45 years after Operation Overcast and 30 years after Operation Paperclip officially ended. Which means Nazis got to regroup after having been defeated and cast into disarray by the USSR and spend 3 generations developing their program under the protection of the US military with the resources of the US economy.
