    Sheeran posted this on IG:

I am appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The suffering and pain caused on both sides is a human tragedy.

But when a side has a 1000:1 kill rate and it’s actively trying to remove/cleanse/genocide the other side from its foundation…

    Hamas exists because Israel

      Hamas exists because Israel

80 years of making the wrong political decision at every fork in the road.

Always on the wrong side of things.

Eventually that catches up with you. No matter who you are.

That is what we are seeing unfold in Gaza in our present times.

Walking out on the U.N. partition plan negotiations back in 1948 was a tragic mistake, and it’s only become more disastrous with the passage of the years and decades since then.

No musician or singer poncing about on stage like an uninformed idiot before a crowd of even less informed idiots can change anything about those facts.

If Palestine agreed to give up the most fertile part of their land, to the government that just invaded and genocided them, do you think Israel would have stopped?

“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must - at that moment - become the center of the universe.”

Ed Sheeran is a fucking coward that tried to say he can’t have Macklemore talking about Palestine because of the children in the audience. The appropriate thing for someone with $400m in the bank would have been to cancel the tour, raincheck or refund the tickets and find decent venue owners for the next attempt.

Also, I’m pretty damn sure that Robert Kraft’s stadium gets tax money for something. That should fucking stop immediately.

      Oh, the fucking irony…

Macklemore was vocally against Biden and proclaimed he wouldn’t vote for him.

He didn’t pick a side. I presume he didn’t vote for Trump, but he sure convinced folks not to vote for Biden.

Trump is raping the US and the world right now.

Edit: Fuck anyone who doesn’t oppose Israel’s genocide.

        She’s exactly right too.

He had zero problem being political with Ukraine, when it was pretty universally accepted.

His problem isn’t politics, it’s actually having a backbone and standing up against any sort of adversity.

Kraft also owns the new england patriots. Hate to give those athletes a splash effect of their owner’s awfulness. But I also think thats the celebrity world for you. We have to make zionism as toxic in the business community as it already is in public opinion polls. BDS works.

No. The proper thing to do is take the stage and repeat Macklemores words and cover the song Macklemore covered.

His contracts with all those venues may cost him far more than you’d imagine if he just doesn’t show or drops out. The only telling thing he has done that makes him look really badly is his lack of any statements he could have made by now.

Oh nooooo, it would cost him? How will he eat tomorrow?

…better than children in Palestine, that’s for sure.

Thank dog I never gave a crap about his music. I look forward to ignoring his future commercial endorsements for CapitalOne Bank and Smirnoff Ice.

The funny thing is that I have no interest in watching ed Sheeran, and here in Australia, pretty sure a lot of people would rather watch Macklemore

    How long before he caves?

He can’t possibly play his next show, can he? If he does, the only gig he’ll get after this is the Republican Convention.

Never forget that Ed Sheeran showing up in Game Of Thrones was the harbinger of its inevitable ruin.
