If this happened in the beginning of 2024, and Tyler was born March 21, 2005, he would have been 18¾. In the best case scenario he just had a girlfriend who wasn’t 18 yet and they made consensual videos.

Honestly the only action in this that I find a problem, is that someone put the video on Instagram. If an 18 and a 17 year old want to film themselves having sex for their own use, then that might not be a good idea because of the danger of leaks, or later retaliatory action from one party against the other, but making or possessing it also shouldn’t be a criminal offence.
From a societal perspective nothing good comes of making massive swaths of teens into criminals for consensual victimless crimes.
